Mind Living Yoga Therapy
Janice Sack-Ory

Yoga launched me on an incredible and continuingjourney of self-discovery. In the process it shook me up, woke me up, and in short brought me back to a renewed sense of life! Although, as with most, my initial focus was on the physical body, over time it has shifted to an embodied integration of Yoga with the science of mindfulness and its therapeutic applications as supported by neuropsychology. This also appealed to my western trained education as a nurse-midwife.

Through my personal experience of knowing the transformative power of Yoga, I am now drawn to facilitating healing for others. At Mindful Living Yoga Therapy I offer an integrated mind-body approach that values the body as the gateway to the subconscious mind. By paying attention on purpose to the body, you can gain insight and clarity, which will help you resolve normal life issues, such as indecision around life choices, relationship issues, stressful situations, and unresolved trauma, all of which can show up in the body as chronic pain, fibromyalgia, anxiety, panic attacks, depression and chronic insomnia. I am guided by a firm belief in the mind-body-spirit connection; that what affects one part of us, affects all other parts, and I honor the amazing intelligence of our organism to heal itself, given the right conditions and loving presence of another.

I am very excited to be bringing the therapeutic aspects of Yoga to Three Trees Studio and all of you through the variety of classes I will be offering and through individual therapy. Please call 253-642-6155 for an appointment or to further discuss the benefits of Yoga Therapy for you.
